Nyah, nyah, nyah! Don't you wish you were here?? Well, it was exciting indeed! The end result was not unexpected, but it was phenomenal!
Here's the low-down boyz and grrlz...
It's after 2am and the streets of Columbus failed me again by closing down so gosh darn early! Lemme share my experience with you.
Let's start with the most buffed, muscular, beautiful babes in the world!
My nerves were shocked. I downed a double gin straight up to prepare for what was gonna be the biggest show down you can imagine -- or can ya??
The consensus from friends and associates alike was that Gayle Mohler, Jitka Harizamova, Vicki Gates, Yolanda Hughes were gonna be forces to contend with after checking out the fabulous prejudging.
Wait a minute, that's the night show finals. let's back up to the prejudging already!
My girl, Nancy Lewis came in a tad too soft as usual but never fear, there were more than enough babes to take up for her slack.
Gayle Mohler was ripped to the bone,, ya'll!! Her back was awesome compared with Chris Bongiovanni. C.B. was not as hard as she could've been. Tazzi Columb as competitor number 5 was hard as a rock, I'm telling ya!
Number 8, Laura Binetti was humongous albeit a bit blocky in the midriff but I personally liked her. Ripped hams, glutes and great calves. Excellent back and such a beautiful smile. The last woman to present herself during prejudging was Jitka Harazimova of the Czech Republic. I personally didn't think that her muscles were 'mature' enough but the seperation in her quads were a site to behold.
Ericca Kern,my dear and true friend, was smaller than many of the other competitors but she wasn't as harsh looking as her competitors either. A great look indeed and a natural babe like myself could only hope and pray that the judges could see that this is indeed the direction in which the sport should go. A look where most woman can find attainable as well as desired.
Nancy Lewis was not as tight as she could've been but that has been her trademark for quite some time now. When you're comparing those back shots, you look at the glutes and hams and that's the telltale sign for ultimate conditioning.
Natalia Murnikoviene, our sweetheart from Lithiuania and now a San Diegoan transplant was simply too soft and not ready for the war of the year.
Vicki Gates had great size, awesome legs, big freaking guns, loveable red, awesome pecs, great glutes/ham tie-in and an awesome back. I liked her during prejudging!
I said to myself "Self, she's gonnna be in the top 5 for sure!"
Now let's get to the women's finals and my double gin no water back event. :-) On the way in, I caughgt a glimpse of Monica Brant, one of the fitness competitors hamming in behind one of EAS many many trucks and simply had take a memory of that view home with me. She was simply beautiful!
Gayle, my friend I missed you dearly! But I will see you in all of YOUR glorious beauty in Chicago next month, babe!
Let's not talk about day conditioning vs. night conditioning. It's totally irrelevant. What I will tell ya is that it was cut down to the following 10 out of 15 for the posing round:
Ohhhhh, what a battle. Vicki Gates managed to eek out 2nd with heyyyyyyyyyyy, Ms. Yolanda Hughes taking home a major first place prize of $20,000 big ones! My girl!!
Tazzi came in third, Harazimova came in 4th, Gayle Mohler came in 5th much to the dismay of her hometown crowd and others, with Coates coming in 6th!
And there you are ladies and gents!
You're gonna have to wait until later on today for the boyz results as its after 3am and i'm tired as all hell!
Here's something to sleep on though!! Nassar didn't place first and he didn't get most muscular.
