Heyyyy, where are the vendors??!! I wanna go shopping! Where are the big folks in 'nekkid' clothes?? Awwwwww, mannnnnn!
Oh well. The venue sucked the royal one folks! Wayne Demilia, Steve O'Brien (SF NPC Rep), Lonnie Teper (monotonous and boring emcee - i'm sorry dude but you just gotta take some ephedrine before getting up there) and others were in the house.
Sports Pharma was the big vendor there since they sponsored this show. Thanx for the thermadrene as it came in handy for this show. American Bodybuilding Products were there giving away free drinks and there were maybe 2 other vendors were there as well. oh well... After checking the Arnold's, all other shows seems like small potatoes. This show was not done as well as some of the bigger NPC venues!!
Okay, I managed to come up with some V.I.P. tickets at the very last minute and was in in the 6th row which was very much revealing. I saw some parts of the boys that I wasn't looking for. :-)
I'm gonna be quick with the results. It was a close repeat of the Arnold's. Paul Dillett was not happy with his placing. He was 5th out of the top 5. Lee Priest came in 4th. Mannnnn, he is freaky huge and at 5'4", he was ripped and biggggg. I say he should've placed better than 4th place. He looked greattttt as Tony would say. Mike Francois from Ohio came in 3rd, Nassar once again came in 2nd. The highly symmetrical, mr. Confidence, Flex Wheeler took the show and he's three for three in 1997!! What a stud, eh?!!?
In my humble opinion, nassar looked better than he did at the arnold's and dillett came in fatter in the midsection. Lee priest is my man!! Dillett has a wide back but when he strike that back double-biceps pose, all you see is a few lumps at the top of the back and he's narrow from the waist to the lat tie-in. i dunno know whether it's because he need to work on that pose or whether he need some help in how to bring out those lats when doing that all-so-important pose. he must definitely needs to work on his presentation. how long has he been doing this? the teper-meister made some comment in this regards. teper seems to think that dillett has improved in his posing skills. :-) oh wellll....
Where's the shopping?? Where's the guest poser?? What a bummer. big boyz all dressed down and no place to go...
I'm going to have some java with a girlfriend...
